Great writing is equal parts soul & whimsy. Robots offer neither.
I started out in journalism in the early 2000’s. My path diverted slightly to a position in development and communications at York University. From there I went on to draft copy for other large post-secondary institutions and charitable organizations while also publishing profiles, essays, and feature articles in such outlets as The Toronto Star, Foundation Magazine, The Canadian Jewish News, Lifestyles Magazine and Real Estate Magazine. In between, I took some time to study law. It was a great way to strengthen my advocacy and research skills while elevating my awareness of how justice works on a societal level.
In this age of Artificial Intelligence and robot-generated copy, I believe human writers are more important than ever. Though it is fast, cheap and easy to generate copy today, it may not be the most meaningful or memorable way to communicate your messages.
My commitment is to always write words that align with your mission in a voice that you would naturally use to speak to your target audiences. I pride myself on being a great listener and always working closely with my clients to achieve the best possible results.
